City Walk residents who enjoy Thai food can now satisfy their appetites without putting a strain on their wallets.
Sawatdee, the Twin Cities’ longtime Thai dining destination, is extending a 10 percent “Neighbor Discount” to residents of City Walk Condominiums.
Located at the corner of Robert and Ninth streets in downtown Saint Paul, Sawatdee considers City Walk part of its neighborhood community.
“We do this for those in our building, as well as the buildings in the neighborhood,” said Ying, general manager of the Saint Paul location, referring to residents of the Rossmor building above the restaurant and nearby residential properties.
When asked whether the offer was limited to food purchases, Ying confirmed that diners receive 10 percent off their total tab, including alcoholic beverages.
To receive the discount, residents simply need to let their server know they live in City Walk.
For City Walk residents, the arrangement provides an opportunity to enjoy one of the Twin Cities’ most established Thai restaurants while supporting a local business just steps from home.

I can confirm that the discount applies to the Wed-Fri lunch buffets, too. (Tested that today!)
