The City Walk Social Committee puts on all kinds of events throughout the year: musical performances, dances, Story Hours, poetry workshops, and on and on.
Some of these events occur on a regular schedule:
Wednesday Game Nights
5pm every second Wednesday of the month in the Party Room.
Saturday Game Nights
5pm every last Saturday of the month in the Party Room. Most months, if you’d like to learn the ancient board game of Go, you can come early, any time between 3 and 5pm.
Tuesday Movie Nights
Every third Tuesday of the month in the Party Room, start times dependent on the length of the movie. If you have any questions or suggestions for movies to watch, you can contact Stephanie Andresen.
Story Hour
These events, which feature City Walk residents telling stories or reading stories they or others have written, happen on a more irregular schedule, but the Story Hour organizer, Ruth Markowitz, is always looking for readers. If you’re interested, just let her know.
